How to Take Care of Rhinestone Jeans
Share
At Bashga, we believe in making maternity jeans that are as strong as the women wearing them. That’s why our rhinestones aren’t just stuck on—they’re carefully sewn by hand. This makes them more durable, but they still deserve some extra love to keep them sparkling through every trimester (and beyond).
Here’s how to take care of your embellished Bashga jeans the right way:
⸻
1. Gentle Wash Only
Always turn your jeans inside out before washing. Use cold water and the delicate cycle on your machine, or hand wash if you want to be extra cautious.
Tip: Pop them in a mesh laundry bag for extra protection.
⸻
2. Skip the Dryer—Always
Even though the rhinestones are sewn, dryers can be rough on fabric and stitching. Air dry only—lay flat or hang in the shade to protect the denim color.
⸻
3. Avoid Harsh Chemicals
No bleach, no strong detergents. A mild detergent is all you need to keep the denim and stitching in top shape.
⸻
4. Be Gentle Around the Embellishments
If you need to spot clean, dab carefully with a soft cloth—don’t rub or scrub the rhinestone areas. Even sewn stones can loosen over time with too much friction.
⸻
5. Steam, Don’t Press
Wrinkles? Use a steamer instead of ironing. If you must iron, do it inside out and avoid direct contact with the embellishments.
⸻
Why Sewn Rhinestones Matter
Most brands use glue—Bashga doesn’t. Our rhinestones are sewn for a cleaner look, better durability, and a luxe feel. It’s a subtle detail, but it makes all the difference in quality—and it’s one more way we make sure you always feel your best.
